Emerging Wine Regions of the US: Texas, Michigan, Virginia, New England

From venue:

West Coast, or East Coast? California or New York? While coast dwellers might think the debate is only about east vs west, other wine growing regions of the United States have been working away in their vineyards and wineries. We've talked and taught about the Judgment of Paris, the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and the bounty of New York wines, and now it's time to turn our attention to the emerging wine regions of the US. In fact, wine is made in all 50 states! We'll travel via our glasses to the top ascending states and their wines; stopping in places like Texas Hill Country, Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, Michigan's Tip of the Mitt, New England, and more. We'll search the states for the best examples we can find to bring you.

Please Note: This class was initially scheduled for our Union Square location but has been moved to Chelsea Market, 75 9th Ave. Class will be held in the Maker's Studio in Chelsea Market, tucked behind Eat Offbeat, just past elevator #1. Enter through the center concourse of the Market, or from 16th Street through the designated Maker's Studio door.

Join us at the bar for a glass of wine and dinner the day of class and receive 10% off your check.

Live wine classes are led by Corkbuzz Sommeliers and last 90 minutes. Class includes 6 (2 ounce) pours of wine, printed materials, and complimentary cheese. Guests will be seated at communal tables. Please refrain from wearing heavy fragrances to class.
