Burgundy Basics

From venue:

It is said that, “Burgundy (Bourgogne) is a holy grail for wine geeks: a region impossible to master, impenetrable to the casual observer, and endlessly fascinating.” In this exciting, introductory class, we’re exploring the two most popular grape varieties of Burgundy: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Burgundy is home to an array of exciting provinces, each of which produce a different iteration of these infamous grape varieties. In addition to geography and climate, we will discuss AOP wine laws and regulations, grapes, food and pairing suggestions.

Join us at the bar for a glass of wine and dinner the day of class and receive 10% off your check.

Live wine classes are led by Corkbuzz Sommeliers and last 90 minutes. Class includes 6 (2 ounce) pours of wine, printed materials, and complimentary cheese. Guests will be seated at communal tables. Please refrain from wearing heavy fragrances to class.
